TERRY
I was only able to talk to Terry once yesterday. She sounded tired but better. She had been to speech and physical therapy in the morning and she thought she had PT again at 3 in the afternoon. She was so sad to hear that Dave died and she so wanted to come to the funeral. That is not possible with her physical condition now but I did talk to the nurse about it just to be sure. I am hopeful that now she can work hard towards coming home.
I will not be writing for the next few days. We will leave this morning for Jamestown and will return kind of late Thursday. We will be part of the car caravan to Bergen cemetery and then head back here after the burial. I will enjoy a day, Friday, with sisters Joan and Helen as they will be here until Saturday. So on Sunday it will be back to what is now the normal. I may need some time to recuperate as I know the next couple of days will be emotional and wearing.
No pictures this morning and not much to say. I will have my FP and I even have someone to share it with today as Joan asked me if I would be sure to have coffee. OF COURSE!
Let's all say a prayer for Dave's wife Marlys. These are difficult times and as the days and weeks come and go Marlys will need prayers to move forward with her life. I promise that it is a journey that has to happen and God's grace will be there but as we all work and live here on earth it is not always easy.
Back maybe on Thursday night or for sure on Friday.
