- "Carmen you may not like this but I left a mask on the top of your recycle bin in your garage. People on the street here are really worried. Would you wear the mask when you go on a bike ride? First of all I have been within 6 feet of several of our neighbors within the last 48 hours without a mask! I have no idea WHO the people are that he is talking about. So I am expected to go out into the warm air on my bike and have a mask on!!! I don't think so but what was I to say. If I say "no" then to someone I am putting people in danger and I am bad. If I say "yes' then one is pretty much defeating the whole experience of being outside! Well what is one to do as I had to make a decision on the spot. I have said I really don't care what people think. On the other hand if I say I will not do it AND if for some odd reason someone comes down with covid-19 then I suppose I am to blame in their eyes.
- So I did say "yes" but as I turn the corner at the end of the block the mask comes off. I did not think this whole situation would force me to make decisions like this.
- I want to add that I understand we are in a serious time but I also think common sense needs to come into play.
I just had to add this to prove that I am getting some work done. This is from our Romba vacuum this afternoon. I promise Terry had run it before she left for the hospital so I guess I must be an A+ in terms of making dust! NOW I kind of need to bare down and start on those darn papers. It will happen but not sure as to the time table. Yes, you are right, the vacuum does go by itself but still I had to start it, clean it and put the trap back on so I did some work!
Tomorrow is another day and what will it bring?
