Twenty-eight down--wait there may be a oops which will change things

Terry
There is a LOT revolving around Terry but the details are not worked out yet.  After a 25 minute talk with the Dr. yesterday it was clear what they would like to see.
  • They still do not know what is causing Terry's condition so they would like to see her moved to the Twin Cities and get services from the University of Minnesota Hospital.  The Dr said Terry's condition is EXTREME and she would like to get to the bottom of it.  Her advice is Terry would get much better care in Minnesota than here.  Staying here would be a second option.
  • In terms of Terry's health now it has not changed a lot.  It seems that they are NOT treating her as a corvid 19 case but rather a case that they have not found the root cause of her illness.
  • So at this time it is kind of wait and see as I was told that I would get a call yesterday PM but it did not come through so I am expecting it today.  After that we will see IF/WHEN we can move.  It will be a test of getting her to the airport, on the plane, off the plane and into a facility in the Twin Cities.  Will it happen, I am not sure but in the mean time I keep my phone near me so I do not miss the call.
  • Given all that I am left here wondering how I should implement house lockup IF we leave next week.  That is always a joint effort of Terry's and mine but alone I am not sure.  AND then how can a person bring what they need in 2 suitcases when we usually bring a van FULL of things?  It will all be worked out but how/when is yet to be determined.
As for me it is once again same old same old.  As I sit here I do not remember if I had a swim yesterday.  I may not have as I wanted to stay near my phone.  Today I will make another visit to Terry and then drop off Agatha's birthday present in the mail as May 4th is fast approaching.  Yestereay I started putting things on a bed that need to go back to MN.  Not 100% sure that will happen but I think it will.  Anyway not much new from me today but there are a few memories that I would like to share.
I guess I would label this HATS!  Aaron was born in August so I am guessing this is sometime in the winter of 1974.  I think that fork that Travis has in his hand is still in the Lee kitchen in St. Paul!

Here is Dad with his three boys.  Looks like it was taken shortly after Aaron was born in August.  Notice my pants, they are in need of patching.  Not sure if that means I had been working hard or if we were just too poor to buy new!  I know with my mop of hair and long side burns I am kind of a sorry looking sight but I am sure in my mind I was already saying, "Why 3 boys and no girls as Gail wanted a girl in the worst way!"  Of course that came 7+ years later.

This is taken in the kitchen of 710 Third St. in Devils Lake.  Take note of our really expensive kitchen table!  Before one laughs know that we were thrilled that we had a house even if it meant eating on a card table in the kitchen.  We did have the REALLY important things in life like a freezer and a piano!   Just so you know the fridge came with the house as we would not have purchased a brown one BUT if I am open to admitting some foolish mistakes I will admit that we purchased a Kirby vacuum!!!  AND a set of World Books!

Enough for the day.  For now I skipped breakfast.  Oh a strange thing this morning.  As I opened the door to the pool area there was a bird inside the cage.  I looked and looked and could not find HOW it got inside.  Luckily I was able to shoo it around the cage and it stepped out!  NO idea how that bird got IN the cage.
Anyway the FP is now down to the last 1/2 cup so I need to figure out what I should do with the day.
