Here we go, day 12 that Terry has been in the hospital

As I walked into the den this morning I was reminded of where we and everyone else are at.  Here are the tennis towels that Terry has given me over the years.  When tennis was suspended a couple of weeks ago I put them on the back of the couch and there they are.  Staring at me each time I walk into the den.  I may have to take them down until tennis is up and running again WHICH may be in the distance future!
The update on Terry shows a bit of new light.  Dr. Rodriguez called me for the third time yesterday.  She did not mention Terry coming home.  Of course we would like to have her home yesterday BUT we want her to get well.  Dr. mentioned that she saw that Dr. Vickers was in some way involved and THAT is good.  He is Terry's neurologist and a pretty special guy.  Dr. Rodriguez also said Terry needs more testing to see what is going on.  That is great news as we know something is wrong and they have not been focused on the correct things.  So that is what happened yesterday.  I am hoping that we get the test results from the second test back today.  Even IF she were to test positive again her health issues are NOT Covid-19 and it seems to me the Dr. should know that by now.  Terry did tell me yesterday that thay have been taking blood almost daily and I did not know that.  It would be great IF the test is negative and they move her off the covid-19 floor onto a floor where they do not have to put on a costume to see her!  So as of 7:00 AM on April 15 that is the story!

Well here is a picture of an early start to being on the go.  From Tonka trucks to trikes to bikes is what John and Travis did.  I can not remember everywhere they went but some of the places included Cottage Grove, Stillwater, Milwaukee, Boulder CO, Burlington Iowa and the list goes on and on.  I could also add that throwing soccer into the mix you then have Aaron also going from coast to coast in a way.  AND of course Cynthia did soccer but her team did not travel so much.  Here is a story of one soccer trip that ended pretty interesting.
John's team had played in a tournament in Milwaukee (I think that was the town) and I was not able to go for the entire tournament but did get there for the end.  We headed home on a Sunday night and expected to arrive in St. Paul pretty late.  John had gotten his big toe cleated in one of the games.  I should add that was NOT an unusual experience for John.  As we hit I 94 near Tomah WI John mentioned that his toe was REALLY hurting.  The further we went the more it hurt as it was now very swollen and pressure was built up under the toenail.  Finally the pain got so bad that I turned off of I 94 at the first blue "hospital" sign I saw.  I do not remember the town but I do remember it was NOT a big time hospital in any way.  We pulled up to the emergency door and someone came out to see what we needed.  About 30 minutes later John felt MUCH better as he had a hole in his toenail to relieve the pressure.  I am sure that in due time the nail came off and it probably was not the first or the last nail to fall off.
So here it is now 7:20 and light outside.  I am pretty much finished writing and maybe it is time to get on the bike.  Terry usually calls in the morning but not this early the last couple of days.  I like to have her call as I never know if she is resting, eating or if the nurses are there.  Lord, please give us some answers today (through the dr.) so that Terry can be on the road to recovery.
Breakfast can wait today but NEVER wait for the FP so that is now down to a couple of sips.
