What am I doing?

Ok so I wander from room to room wringing my hands unable to make up my mind what I should do I have actually gotten some things done.  I had washed the bedding and then left the bed undone for days.  I do not like to make the bed, if fact I could say I hate it.  Terry just does such a great job EVERY day with it but darn it she is not here so the job fell to me.  I would say I did A- or maybe a B+ job and it only took half a day!

The kitchen seems to be related to our farm land to the east of of the farm.  That darn land just grew rocks year after year.  It seemed the more we picked the more there were in the soil.  Well this kitchen is related.  I will pour myself a glass of juice and then sit down to enjoy it.  When I go to put it in the kitchen there are 2 or 3 more dirty glasses.  I swear they just popped up out of nowhere.  Well I got the best of the kitchen yesterday.  I cleaned, wiped and scrubbed (really) and then I put up kind of an invisible barrier so no more dirty dishes could enter!  success!!!

The living room is related to the kitchen.  I will sit on the couch with a glass of water.  Maybe I will get up to do something and when I come back there are 3 dirty glasses there.  It is like magic!  Well I just got down to brass tacks and cleaned, sweep, vacuumed and it looks kind of good.  I have not gotten around to putting furniture oil on the table yet but today!

OK so the den is another story or should I say a whole other project.  I know it takes a certain kind of person to allow it to get to this!!!  But after I drive downtown to get tested I will make it happen-maybe today!  Well I will start with the desk and IF I get that clear it will be a productive day.

Not much needs to be said about this, the dining room table. It is just an extension of the den so I will wrap it into the den work and it will get DONE.

Now there is SUCCESS.  The guest room, with seldom guests, is pretty darn nice.  The blue blanket on the bed is for this old man to lie on if her wants to take an afternoon nap.  I admit that those darn things are a big waste of time but I do give in to that a couple times a week.  The pictures you can kind of see on the walls are of some of our national park trips in canvas.

So one says that has nothing to do with a messy or a clean house.  Well if anybody said that they are very wrong.  After one works their fingers to the bone making a darn bed there is always a place for a great reward.  The neighbor brought over a bunch of bananas so of course they can not go to waste!  I admit we had no chocolate so I did have to go out and buy that---while I wore a mask.

As I back out of my driveway this morning I will almost be able to hear some neighbors talk about how I am supposed to be IN the house for 14 days, how dare he go out.  Well I am same old, same old me.  I do not have a history of caring what people say about me so why should I start now?  

No I need to get my breakfast dishes washed as that kitchen has to stay clean.  I am in the middle of my FP and actually as I write that I thought of John M with his Folgers, thought of Mom with her instant cup with foam on it and then about brother Dave who does not drink coffee and perhaps does not even think about it.  What the heck I am rambling on about nothing. Maybe I am just a bit nervous about this covid-19 test.  NOT the test but rather the result.

Here it is 7:30 and I have blogged twice today.  Does one think I am avoiding cleaning the rest of the house?  I should continue to write about nothing until my FP coffee is done but will stop as the FP is in the Liam cup and it is big enough for a cup and a half.

Oh my there is a helicopter passing over time and time again.  I wonder if they are looking for quarantine people who are illegally out and about?  Good thing I have a new car as they will not recognize me!
Wait I just opened the web site of Capital Grill.  The are doing a take home meal for Easter Sunday.  I have to decide soon if I want that.  Let me see:

• I can order a whole rack Bone-in-filet with side dishes and for two people it is ONLY $95.
• Or I can do my ham in the fridge and make Mom's cream potatoes and I think I paid a total of maybe $20 for everything.  That would give me left overs for many days.  Well it is going to be me, myself and I so the Capital Grill order is for only 2.  I guess I am stuck with a home made meal here at 732 Wiggins Bay Dr. with left overs until the cows come home!!!
