Day 17 and counting for Terry

In case there are any persons who use this blog to find out how Terry is doing I will update her health each day the first thing.  That way you do not need to be bored going through my rambling thoughts.

I talked to her twice yesterday.  She is about the same as in the past.  We have hopes that she will find out today that her third covid-19 test is negative.  It seems that the results should be in as the test was taken last Thursday.  As for the tests on her spinal fluid we HOPE that comes through today or soon.  I feel that may tell us what is happening in her body.  She remains VERY weak as it sounds that her legs are useless at this time.  As yesterday and two days ago it is a wait and see day for us.

Here are two families that spent a lot of time together.  Grandma and Grandpa Lee are with Joyce, Marvin, Jerry, Leanne (sp), Gayle and Mary all Halvor and Alta's family.  For us there is Joan, Janet, Ronald, Dave, Helen and I.  We lived close to each other and many holidays etc were spent together. Ronald, Marvin and Jerry did a lot of hunting.  For the younger ones, like me, there were evening games like hide and seek, kick the can etc.  I am guessing this picture was taken maybe in 1956 +/- a year or two.  Grandma and Grandpa Lee were the best.  There are a lot of good memories with our family and Halvors.  I always liked Halvor as it seemed like he always had a positive attitude and a joke that he thought was really funny!  As for Grandma and Grandpa, on their farm, there were many kinds of berries, many kinds of apples and a big garden that we often helped harvest in the fall.  It also was fun visiting them and walking in the pasture to the south of their buildings.  Grandma told this story more than once: "I remember one day Ruby came to visit with you and Dave.  When you came into the house you said, "Mom told me not to ask for a cookie!"  Grandma thought that was really funny.

Not much happening today.  I will shave!  With all that is going on my face is kind of itchy which means I have not shaved for a while.  There will be a couple bike rides, a trip to the hospital with a card and not much else.  

I have been overeating so I am skipping breakfast.  I do not know what the deal is but yesterday a neighbor brought over doughnuts and another friend had a box of cookies!  I, of course, thanked them and enjoyed them but I need sweets like an extra leg or arm.  NOT

The FP is about gone and so am I.
