 TERRY

As I write today it is 8:25 AM and Terry seems to be stirring but not awake yet.  I think she had a restless night.  She did get her covid shot, her first, yesterday and it went well.  She will have her second one in 4 weeks.  She is doing the same same so nothing new.

It is raining out as I sit here looking out the window.  That is good as it has been dry here over the last many days.  My impression always has been rain every day in Naples in the summer but that has not been the case this summer.  I have not kept track but I am guessing we may get rain maybe three times a week.  Maybe that will pick up as we get into late summer.

Not much planned for the day.  I was not scheduled to play tennis today so the rain is REALLY welcome.  It has been hard to get in more than 2 days of tennis a week which is just not enough to keep the game in good shape.  I say that and it almost implies more play would help my game and on that subject I am not so sure!!!

I am pretty excited as my calendars are supposed to arrive Friday.  It is always fun to go through them for the first time and Look for mistakes!  Not it is fun to see it for the first time and I usually take time to sit back and enjoy the memories.  I will not make them a Christmas present but wait!  I think I will send them to Glorine, John, Joan, Marlys and Helen so they can enjoy Christmas in August!  As for my kids I may wait until near the new year.

Here is proof, I was born happy!

Family came down to St. Paul around Christmas time in 1977, Two months after we had moved into our home on Niles Ave.  I think the only grandchild that is not in the picture is Cynthia who was born three years later!  It was a wonderful family time.

That is it for today AND as I write we have heavy rain which is good.  I am guessing if people had scheduled tennis for this AM it will be too wet all morning.  I am having my last sip of FP and oh my goodness it is so so delicious.
