Terry
I drove over to see Terry twice yesterday and then talked to her on the phone a couple of times. It started at 4:00 AM as she called!!! There is really not much to say today. I was correct in that the weekend, in terms of things happening, is not so active. At this time we are still waiting hear from skill care centers. Also the transportation to Minnesota is not nailed down as we need to get a place first. Tomorrow I will try to contact her primary care Dr. in Minnesota and I am sure she will be happy to refer Terry to one of the Dr. that the case worker came up with here. Once again I am hoping that things can happen this coming week but we will see. I feel that Terry's condition is NOT improving and in some ways is becoming worse. I think she has gotten into a bad habit as she has called me in the very very early hours of the morning the last four days! By early I mean anytime from 1:30 to 4:30. Given the fact she has now been in the hospital/rehab center for 30 day I too may be calling at early hours if I were her! I have seen a change over last 3 days in that she is less happy and has less patience with things. Again I suspect 30 days can do that!
For those of you who may read this please pray that this coming week will bring some light and changes into Terry's health. IF we could be in Minnesota by the end of the week I would be one happy guy as I am sure the U of MN can come up with answers which we are wanting/needing for Terry.
Fun to see. We needed an inspection of the house for our new insurance. The guy came over and instead of walking on the tiles ,which is not a real good idea, he had his drone going around taking pictures. It was fun to see how it worked and I think the pictures were better than if you would walk on the roof. I asked him how much the drone cost and he said it was around $700. He said his next one would be about $2000 but that would be able to go under water and take pictures. Not sure what he has in mind that he needs under water pictures but it sounded like he was serious.
Once again my day will be same old same old. I did finish my scripture reading on line which I like to do. Each day I get an e-mail of a scripture reading which is just nice to be able to open it and spend time in prayer.
But for now there has been no breakfast yet and will write about some memories before I sit down to eat. Pictures today all were taken in 2013 I think!
The main bedroom upstairs on Niles Ave had wall paper on from way way back. It also was in need of patching, painting and the floor needed to be redone. It was a BIG job that was finished that summer. Terry, Travis and I put a lot of hours into it but I was very happy with how it turned out.

We started on our camping trip out west by attending a Saunders wedding in Fargo. The night before the wedding we camped at Buffalo River State Park. It was right near Ponderosa Golf Club where Dave and I would golf at times in the summer of 1967. To this day, even though I don't golf a lot, it is perhaps one of my very favorite courses. If I remember right Dave and I were not the most skilled golfers but we had a lot of fun and I think we were pretty even at the end of the day when we looked at our scores. We were pretty serious so NO toe shots, no moving the ball for a better lie etc. After all we needed to preserve that LEE competitive spirit!
After visiting Marlys and Dave in Jamestown we headed towards Havre Montana to visit Larry F and then on to the west coast. We found a heck of a deal for camping in Trafton which is right on highway 2! Can't beat $3 when you have nice grass, toilets that were OK and fire pits for cooking. On a later trip we again stopped here over night to camp. The price even beat the $5 camping in Teddy Roosevelt National park in western ND!
That is it for today. I do not feel like I need to be tethered to my phone today as I suspect not much will happen on a Sunday. It will be a couple of trips to see Terry and that will be about it. Lord please come in power, might and grace to intervene in Terry's health situation so that we may find out what is happening and she may be well again.
