Monday, starting our first full week in St. Paul

Terry

I only was able to talk to Terry once yesterday.  She sounded stronger and for the most part our conversation was good.  I did call a second time but it went to voice mail.  I called the nurse station and talked to a nurse who cares for her.  She said Terry has already had several tests and more are planned.  The results have not come in.  She felt Terry was talking in a normal way but was kind of forgetful.  That is VERY good.  I am hoping that I hear from the U today with some of the test results. As far as I know she is still very very weak.  More as I hear more.

I am back to my all time favorite cup for coffee.  I do use it with Travis' pod coffee maker but soon I will get the FP out as that is the BEST!  Travis takes care of my paper needs!  I think I could spend a lot of time reading but will do the Tribune and WSJ for starters.  I do not know WHY but coffee is just extra special in that darn cup.  Maybe it is because Terry bought it for me on our first and ONLY tent camping trip in 2011.  Yes I did say TENT.

It looks like summer is actually going to happen this week and next.  Today 54, by Thursday 69 and then a week from today 80!!!  

I need to change my way of things here.  I have now been here for 3 full days and I would say I have done about an hour of work.  I know, not very impressive for sure.  I may get this body of mine out into the woodshop today and get things kind of cleaned up.  Of course I will keep my phone by me.  I may even put some seeds in the ground by mid week.  I do need to get my mind and my body more active as this sitting around waiting for the phone to ring is not a good thing.  I need to keep the phone near but still do something productive with my day.  

I am guessing Mom is with Ronald.  I love the picture of our shed in the back ground.  It blew down in the spring storm of 1956.  I think I have the year correct.

Mother's Day was yesterday but I will honor Mom today.  I will not try to outdo anybody with several adjectives BUT just so you know Mom was about as special as a mom can get.  A woman of many actions, much love, much sacrifice and not so many words.  I think she did not get all she deserved but I am positive that if she were young again she would do it all over for her family.  

Ok I have now had 2 cups of coffee so I am good to go.  Do I really want to get out into the wood shop before it warms up?  Not sure about that!
