Terry
Terry actuallly seemed a bit better yesterday. Still some of the things we talked about did not make sense but it was incouraging. In terms of where we are. Diane, the case manager, said she would work on getting things in place this morning. I am hoping that means we can get Terry to St. Paul this week. Like I said I have much of what I would need to bring spread out on the bed so I could pack in a hurry. Hopeful I will have GOOD news tomorrow.
I ADMIT!!! I am beginning to wear down a bit. Yesterday I placed my body on the bed at 4:30 in the afternoon and fell into a fitful doze. This calling, waiting, wondering is, for me, not an easy task. I am so so hopeful we can get Terry into U of MN hospital SOON. It just seems that time is important and Terry really needs to be diagnosed and treated. She has been a trooper in rehab. I can not imagine how it has been for her. Once again yesterday her voice was somewhat shaky as she said she was kind of short of breath. Come Lord with your healing power through the Dr.
Yesterday was the first day I did not go to see Terry since she got into rehab. I actually did not leave the house except to look for mail and then I realized that our mail started going to St. Paul as the time was up on the change. We talked on the phone and I was so thankful that she did not ask why I did not come. I will go over this morning and we will talk. The case manager MAY call late AM or early PM---I hope.
Memories
The raft of sea otters I talked about in the past |
I think that baby has it made as it rests on mommy's stomach |
Again this was on our way to Seldovia when we had a few days to kill in Homer waiting to fish
Yes many of us have seen this sign as you enter the park. For $5 camping fees, wild animals including horses etc it is a great place to visit. We spent time seeing T Roosevelt's cabin and much more in the park. If you think prairie dogs are interesting come here!
For some reason we had decided to spent time in Seward Alaska and it rained the entire time. This was God's promise that it was finished. During the time there our sheets mildewed as we just could not keept the inside of the camper dry with the rain all the time. Still it was a fun fun time! I say that from my perspective but if you were to talk to Terry she MAY have a little different view!
So that is it for today. I tried something different today for breakfast. I toasted a bun and then put a burger and fried egg on. Yummy! AND yes helped wash it down with the FP which was very good too. I am so hopeful that I will have good news tomorrow.
