Perfect Minnesota summer continues

Day 22, "Every picture has a story"

Terry and I stopped at the Sargent County museum during our ND trip.  I don't know why but I would have just driven past but Terry's idea to stop was a good one. One of the first things I saw when we entered the building was my book in the case.  Kind of fun.  I held up the book and asked the gal if I had changed and she said nothing!!!  Terry and I had a delightful visit with the gal and Greta with the NDSU shirt on.  If Greta were a boy and the time was 53 years ago that could be me.  Well I am only saying I had a Bison shirt when I went to school there.  I think my book may have been the only book if its kind.  Most were books about the history of the area.  Well I guess mine is kind of a history but of a different kind.
I got a 6+ mile ride on Bentley today.  My energy and my legs were saying "not so far" but really that is not very far.  I try to get out early as it is so peaceful and quiet.  On the bike by 5:50 and home some after 7.
There were a few things done yesterday BUT the living room fan has me totally stumped.  I think a call for help is in order tomorrow.  Bite the bullet, swallow ones pride and use the phone.  Yep, I will do that on Monday.
As I sit with my FP at the computer there is a super cool breeze coming in.  Not sure it is a good idea to open the windows with 90+ temps today but it is so much fun to open windows that are new and easy to operate that I just had to do it.
I have the water on part of the front lawn that I am trying to get the weeds out of.  I put weed killer on yesterday, water today, the lawn is cut kind of high and then with the heat I think I have a winner.
Our raspberries are going strong.  We miss Audrey, who picked them last Tuesday!
Enough for now as the FP is down to one swallow.
