Day 27, "Every picture has a story"
Travis and I went out for breakfast last week at Keys. There are several in the area but the one near Niles Ave is the original one. I thought the blackboard was interesting! At the bottom you will read that homemade jelly is an extra $.10! Keys is a place where you go for breakfast and then eat the leftovers for lunch and maybe even dinner. I took my dad there once and the gal who served us was a body builder. I thought Dad's eyes would pop out of his head. I am saying that not in a bad way but rather saying that Dad just could not believe what he was seeing. He may have checked his own biceps but I am not sure about that!
Yesterday was another day working upstairs. The trim is up and yesterday I filled in nail hole, sanded, filled in more nail holes and then primed some. Today it will be more of the same, chalking and then maybe Monday AM I can take up the paper on the floor and put down fresh for priming and painting. This being a self contractor, owner and worker is sometimes as difficult as keeping three or four balls in the air at the same time.
No bike ride yesterday but I will get on the bike now in a few minutes. I am not sure what is better/worse for my legs, biking or going up and down stairs. That hamstring may be so healthy it will scream for tennis before October.
Terry and I have been good (100%) so far in this 30 days of eating like one should. I was down a few pounds and then this morning up .5. Not sure if I was awful yesterday or the scale was awful this morning. Well come to think of it the scale was awful regardless of the reason. When the scale stares at you with BAD numbers and actually it may even smirk for the wink of an eye one has to question if being in a fit of "wanting" the day before was worth the effort.
With the rain 2 days ago and now the warm weather I may need to mow the lawn again today. I am trying to mow often enough so I don't need to bag the grass. When I do not bag I can mow it in about 30 minutes.
No, I think the FP this morning has given be enough fuel for a bike ride. I finished the FP so had better get going before the get up and go has got up and went.
