Wednesday and we have a new in-home care giver after 2 days

Terry did not have therapy yesterday but we did go on a long walk.  Cory, the in home aide, went with us but about half way she got tired so turned around and came back to the house.  We found her sitting in her car when we arrived!  There is NO therapy today but PT will come in tomorrow.  We do need to do some exercises today.  I still see RED when I think about the PA saying the Dr. would see Terry in THREE months.  When the PA called back yesterday our conversation was not all that nice.  It ended up that she will get back to me this week.  This may not be the case but she made me feel like "as long as you decided to not put Terry in rehab when you arrived you are on your own"!  I would think they would do everything possible to have a patient at home instead of in the hospital or rehab.  Will be interesting to see what kind of call I get later this week.  This kind of stuff is what I do NOT need in my life at this time.  Terry did get a shower yesterday and really doing that in the wheelchair works fine.  I am questioning if we need the shower stool.  I am the optimist but it seems to me that Terry is doing better as we transfer from bed to wheelchair etc.  Time will tell for sure.

I post this picture as one needs to keep in mind that life is good.  For some reason I need to remind myself that life has it's cycles and Terry and I are now in a cycle that is kind of difficult.  This is Travis on the left and Aaron on the right and I would say it is 1973 as Aaron was born in that year.

Well IF one wants to be realistic here is where Terry and I are at today!  I went to the DMV yesterday and got number 028.  The lady said it would be at least a half hour as I could see there were on 019.  I asked if I could run an errand and they come back.  She said IF a person is not there when their number is called you go to the back of the line and that did not sound very inviting to me so I took a seat.  Forty-four minutes later I was called and I think I was finished in record time.  It took all of 3 minutes at the counter.  I also have two papers, one for the car and one that Terry has in her purse.  She can use that if she rides with another person she just puts that in the window.  Do not be alarmed as Terry will not need this when May of 2024 comes.
