TERRY
Here it is 6:00 AM. I stopped the feeding tube as it was perhaps 99% finished, I thought that would allow Terry to sleep as it makes a noise when it is 100% finished. Well as I was unplugging Terry she asked me what time it was! So much for not waking her up! Here we are facing another day and for some reason I feel it will be a good day. Terry will have PT at 4:30 as the gal is very busy and could not come any sooner. I did finally get a phone call back from ROADS (company that is helping us) and I think the lady will get us some help. She said she would look into a primary Dr who would see us sooner. She also gave me the number I can call to get someone out to consult with. I really feel we need a trained medical person that we can bounce things off of as well as check Terry to make sure she is doing well. Terry was watching General Hospital on TV yesterday. Well I have named our place here WBGH. Before anyone tries to figure that out it stands for Wiggins Bay General Hospital! We will serve Terry with the best care and we will nurse her back to GOOD health! As for how is Terry doing I would say any progress is very slow.
Advocate Home Care Services is the business that we are going through for in home care. Cory came out for the first 2 days but then needed to take 2 weeks to care for her grandma. Jhenny came yesterday and did a nice job. When she left she asked me to leave work for her to do when she came today as she likes to be busy. I would say she is an upgrade in every sense of the word.
So today it will be a walk outside for Terry and then breakfast. We will try to get some exercises in before the PT comes at 4:30. We feel the PT does a very good job.
I did get out a bit yesterday. I took care of the renting of the wheelchair for a second month and then I stopped at a women's store to exchange a dress that Kim had purchased for her mom. As I walked into the store there were not a lot of dress but mostly other kinds of clothes for women. It kind of reminded me of Victoria's Secret store in the Mall of America where there are VERY few secrets!! Don't worry I do NOT shop there! Anyway I exchanged the dress and hurried out the exit.
I have yet to get any exercise as the tennis courts have not seen me BUT I hope to do some of that soon. Ok so here I am in our new band uniforms and this story is about DAVE. Well the DAVE store is this. We got the new uniforms just as I was finishing up my freshman year which is the year Dave graduated. He said he got his uniform, took it home and put it on. That was it as he returned it the next day. I really could write a long store about band. Perhaps tomorrow!
Well here it is 6:45 AM. I peeped in at Terry and she is quiet but I am not sure she is sleeping. I am enjoying a cup of FP as I write. AND also as I write I hear she turned on the TV. That is actually a good thing as it means she is getting better use of her hands. I will sign off for today.
