Tuesday here we come!

TERRY
Terry's day was a bit strange yesterday.  She had an 11:00 check in for her procedure and we arrived just in time.  She got checked in about 11:15 and then went across the hall to sit again!  After about 15 minutes a nurse came out with two containers of white liquid!  She said Terry should drink the first one (about 16 oz) and then at 12:45 drink the second one and then she would be called in at 1:30!  What is a person to do sitting in the hospital for two hours with a mask on!  So Terry said let's go for a walk and finally we decided to drive home which was about a 20 minute drive.  We drove home, Terry started on the second container as she was on the couch and then after a few minutes we were in the car again driving back to the hospital.  Finally she was called back into the office at about 1:40 and presto, the procedure took all of 7 minutes!  She needs to have a blood draw and on the way home I asked if she wanted to stop and have that done and anyone could guess the answer!!!

I need to get on the phone today as over the last three weeks Terry had OT and PT each Monday.  Neither happened yesterday😬 and I am not a happy camper so to speak.  Terry really should be getting 2 OTs and 3 PTs a week and has been only getting 1 and 2.  BUT to not have anyone show up yesterday makes for an upset person in me.  I had called OT and she said there was a hitch in the order but I did not even hear from the PT.  Here it is 8:40 and I will wait until 9:00 to call.

We did not see Kim yesterday but she will be here today around 9:00 and I am guess stay until noon or so.

I have not set up any tennis for the week but should do that today.

Again not a whole lot to say this morning.  I will try to make some calls and also I think I need to reorder the liquid that Terry gets at night.  I think she has about 3 or 4 nights left so another order needs to be put in.  So much to do and so little time--well that is not really true I just liked the way it sounded when I read it!

Midway through my FP Terry needed meds and and her legs rubbed so now I am enjoying the second half of my FP after it was heated up.  Tuesday, here I come!

  1. I swear that medical people in general do not realize that your time is valuable too! You've got your hands full as it is. So are you in MN? I couldn't tell from your entry. Blessings to you both! I'm so glad to hear that she's home? Take care, Dennis
