Day 153, "Every picture has a story"
Picture taken at Mom and Dad's 50th anniversary party at Joan and Ron's lake cabin. Some how I can not wrap my mind around the years here but am sure it was taken in 1985 as Mom and Dad were married in 1935. I would say all of us kids look a bit older now! Again I was hard for Dad to smile on any picture and not sure why. Mom has the look on her face that kind of says to me, "I am just me." IF I remember correctly we gave a quilt to them made by Gail and Joan had a photo album made for them. At that point the farm had burned and they were living in Veblen.
Terry and I will be going to a barber shop concert this afternoon. A friend is in it. We have gone in the past and it is very good. Other than that the weekend is pretty free.
- An interesting note. I read in the paper this morning about the Ferrari car. A carbon brake job cost north of $40,000. I guess that is not on my bucket list!!!
- Then there was an article on jackets made out of leather from old Cadillac, Mercedes and other cars. I guess the jackets are unique and nice. I decided not to buy one as they the cost of these unique jackets are $1500 and UP. I decided to forgo leather and use my nylon Tarpon Cove jacket!
I had some Kona coffee as my FP today and it was the BEST.
