Day 146, "Every picture has a story"
I do not know the date of this picture but the story....  I don't even know the story BUT here is my take on the day.  Dad went through 8th grade but was a VERY self educated guy.  Mom went through 10 grade but she had MANY talents and gifts.  I am not sure how they did this but they actually passed these gifts and talents down to their kids.  In this picture I am sure brother Dave fixed this van up and painted it etc.  I know this was not the only van/car/truck he had redone.  I have done nothing like that BUT I would say Ronald, Janet, Joan, Dave, myself and Helen have all done many things that were a result of WHO Mom and Dad were.  I think it speaks volumes about who they were and how they raised their children.  I would also say that they were far from perfect BUT what family is perfect???

I played tennis twice today, at 7:30 and again at 9:00.  Too much for me BUT in the 7:30 court I took the place of Del who had a serious stroke.  Who could turn that down?  Tomorrow I play at 7:30 and then I will take 2 days off which my body says it needs.  No complaints!  We have temps in the low 80s, sunny weather and the pool is very inviting so life is good.

AND the FP was again very good this morning!

We got a lot from mom and dad.
I really liked that van. My original paint job and I overhauled the 6 cylinder engine. By the time I sold it, the doors would slow down the air coming in, somewhat, and I could see the ground through floor boards. A got a little splashed going through puddles.
That is the best picture I have of it, thanks.
