Day 135, "Every picture has a story"
This picture made me think of the next picture. This is kind of what you get at Costco if you go on a Friday or maybe any time. The picture below is the IN thing. If you put an appt on your phone just scan, as you put the item in your bag, the items you want with your phone and then hold up your phone as you walk out the door. By the time you get to your car you have the receipt on your phone. Look Mom and Dad, NO LINE! I wonder if the VIPs at Costco are looking??? Once again, what would our parents think of our world today? Then again what would we think if we came back to life 20 years after we died?
My tennis week of league ended yesterday with Karl and I winning on court #2 7-5 and 6-3. I felt our opponent really felt the heat in our second set. We fell behind 0-1 and the came on and won 6 of the last 8 games. The team match was disappointing as we lost on court 1 and 3. Court 1 was fairly close but court 3 played a dud! Only one league match next week and that will be fine. My team has very tough matches the next two weeks and then we finish the season by playing Belle lago a second time on March 20th. We had HOT weather yesterday but next week we should have temps in the low 70s at match time. That will be MUCH better.
I do play today which is unusual as I hardly ever play on Saturday but Terry D scheduled me in. Not sure why. I can add that I used my new racquet yesterday and I really like it. It is heavier, 10.9 oz. That does not sound like much but a little weight makes a big difference. I used a demo that was 7.1 and oh my that was way too light. Enough
