TERRY
I would say Terry is doing OK today. As I write it is 9:15 and she is reading the paper. Nothing planned for the day for here.
I do think this was January 10th or so in 1958 which of course means 64 years ago. After I wrote "I think" I looked at my homemade calendar and YES it was the 10th. A few years after Janet died John was lucky enough to marry Judi and even tho I do not have their wedding picture I know that was more than 50 years ago. Oh my how time flies. I THINK I have my dates correct or at least close!
Here are my ALL time favorite cups. The one on the right was our first purchase when we arrived in Alaska and it does say "end of the Alaska Highway". As Terry and I entered Delta Junction in Alaska we knew we were starting a wonderful journey that would allow us to spend a month in Alaska. Terry bought the cup for me and it has been my "go to cup" for the last many years. When we would drive to or from Naples THE CUP had to be along. Well now it has competition! I got this great cup from the South Bend Lees for Christmas and what is one to do with TWO special cups cause as anyone would know neither wants to share the glory of #1. Well I have it covered. My South Bend cup is #1 for coffee and my Alaska cup is #1 with my writing pens. That is for now but it may change at another time. I love pens. Among them are TWO made by Henry. One with Terry's name on it. One with a level, a screw driver and more in it. AND one from Servant Camp. I can't forget to say that one has a tire gauge on it. Oh, there are more too but that is a sample of them. The latest, from Henry, has a magnet cap!!! So for now my dilemma is solved but just to be fair I may switch them around from time to time! As one can tell I have a lot of important things to do today when I take time to write about pens!
I do not have tennis today but will have 5 matches in the next 4 days. I think that will be enough for the week. Last Friday I had one of the worst days in a long time. BUT when I think of so many people having so may issues I guess a bad tennis day is not the worst thing in the world.
I was glad to talk to sister Joan yesterday. Her son Quinn is in the hospital with an unknown illness that is serious. They do not know what is going on. He is being moved to a veteran's hospital this week I think. She did say he is somewhat better now.
Well I think I am going to sign off for now. I thought about rambling on for a while but my mind says it it time to get some work done. I do have my FP in my new "go to" mug so I may stay on line for a tiny bit to see how far down the market starts out today.
