TERRY
As I write Terry is still sleeping. When I left the bedroom at 7:15 she seemed to still be in a deep sleep. Her day yesterday was pretty much normal so we take it one day at a time.
Darn, darn it. I told myself I would weigh each morning as I got out of bed. AND I did that for the last 5 days. My goal was for my weight to be down at least a tiny bit, each day. Well the first 4 days were GOOD but today not so much. BUT the good news is it was only up half a pound so I will refocus and start a new run tomorrow. MAYBE!!!!
I have tennis today and that is it. I wanted to play golf with some friends but I decided with Terry's health the way it is playing tennis for 90 minutes and then an hour later playing golf for 4 hours was not a good plan so I opted out of golf.
I kind of went around the house yesterday trying to get things in order as IF they every were!!
The first thing I did was get all the towels folded and then into the bedroom. They were washed after being used in the pool. I then went into the garage and got some things cleaned up there. Of course it seems that the kitchen is ALWAYS in need of some help! AND of course there seems to be a need for the washer to be working two or three times a day. I needed to clean up some things as the garbage and recycle bins needed to be put out for Friday AM. So it actually seemed like I was kind of busy all day but then remember my age and take that into account!I am hoping family is OK in MN, Indiana and WI weather wise. As I look at my phone it shows me the temps to be 66 in Naples, -17 in St. Paul, 2 in South Bend and -5 in Madison. No wonder some family were not all that excited to head north. It does look like there will be a break in the weather in the coming days and that is good.
I am not sure why but when the weather gets very cold I often remember Mark and Lizzie who lived next door. They had a diesel car and often in the coldest of days Mark would have a pan of hot coals under the engine before he started the car!
I think I will highlight family in the month of January. It seems to me that ALL of the family is doing well at this time so I will start with siblings, then my children and then grand children. Of course I think they are all pretty special.
On second thought I will start with Mom and Dad
