Here we are at Thursday January 6th

 TERRY

As I sit down to write today it is 8:00 AM and ALL is quiet!!!  Terry is awake and reading the paper and that is the ONLY activity in the house.  No little ones running around.  Nobody in the pool.  Nobody asking for an ice cream cone.  AND the list is long!  I would say Terry is feeling the same.

I have 5 things that will take up my day.  First I have tennis at 9:00.  I have some things to pick up at the store.  I have a messy kitchen to clean.  I do have a few cards to take down and then put them away.  AND I have a loving wife who will need care most of the day.  I think that will keep me busy.  I know if one is 25 they would say that is a walk in the park but I am getting VERY close to 75 and for ME that is a busy day!!!

I do have some things to take care of now that company left.  The fence is still up leading to the pool so that needs to come down.  As I look back on it I would not have needed that.  There were always older kids around and in the pool so the little ones always had someone there to look after them. AND also Leo was the youngest and he is 5 so no tiny ones were here.  Cynthia shared a funny story about the gal who was taking care of John Paul and Max.  After family had been gone for a few days John Paul asked the gal if she was his new Mom!!!  Reminded me of when John flew out to CA for college.  After the fact we learned that Cynthia, who was 5, thought he would NOT be coming back!

The Gulf sandy beach was a favorite place for everyone.  Here Cynthia, Mike, Veronica, Faustina and bearded Travis enjoy the beach.

Before I leave I will add for me 2022 has so far been a good year.  I weighed myself Monday morning and my goal is for me to be down a tiny bit each day for two weeks.  So far so good with 3 days in the rear view mirror I am still holding onto my goal as there has been smaller numbers so far!!!  I will play tennis today so that always helps burn those calories.  

Enough for today as my FP is down to a few sips and then the tennis clothes need to come out and I will be on the courts by 9:00.
