Day 112, "Every picture has a story"

The roof is finished.   Hurricane Irma came through about 18 months ago so I say it is time.  I am guessing it took the guys about 2 weeks to put up the tiles.  It appears that they did a good job.  Now all that is left is to make the last payment!  The roof should be good until long after we are living here.  The under layment was in place when we arrived last fall but there was some kind of delay with the tiles.  Once the tiles arrived the work went pretty fast.  Good to have it in the past.

Yesterday Terry got in a regular walk which was good.  I think she is slowly working up to where she was in 2016.  As for me all I need to do is to cut down on my eating and that has not been going so well in the last month or so!

Tennis was good and not so good yesterday.  The 70+ team lost courts 1 and 3 but Charlie and I were able to win on court 2.  I had never played with Charlie in a team match but we came out yesterday and played very well as a team.  In many of the long rallies (that means hitting the ball back and forth for a point) we were able to keep it in play long enough for them to make a mistake.  The set scores were 6-1 and 6-3.  For me, on a personal level, it was a big win as I felt I needed to show that I can play at that level.  I think I made my point.  As I have said, I think I will not play next week as the captain wants everyone to play.  It is on to my team today which is a 60+ team.  At 11:00 we play away against maybe the best team in our division.  Again one win would be OK, two would be great and three would be super.  None would be disappointing but any of the above could happen.

Not much else.  We do have warm temps again which is a nice change.  I think it was near 80 yesterday as we played and it will be a bit cooler today as we play in the morning.  Next week is the half way point of the season and I am hopeful of wrapping up the first half with several more wins than we had all of last season.

I am finished with my breakfast of sausage, hash browns and eggs and I only have a couple of sips left of that heavenly FP so will sign off.
