Day 2, "Every picture has a story"
On the farm I think we could have made a LOT of money!!! As we visited Amish country last Thursday with John/Mary and kids we came across this sign. I just had to take a picture. I am guessing, as we drove across the countryside, we saw at least 30 horses every mile as the Amish use them for work, play and transportation. This sign was on the side of a parking lot of a large hardware store/mall kind of place. By the looks of the shovels some people take advantage of FREE stuff! A person could also stop along the road any place and help themselves to FREE manure but I am guessing this would be more handy.
We had kind of a relaxing Sunday and now we are ready for our first week of the season. I have a court time of 10:30 today but there is rain off and on so not sure what will happen. I have already told myself, many times, that these first 2 weeks take it easy and don't worry about winning. THAT IS HARD TO DO OF COURSE.
Terry is gone for some of the morning as she had a 9:00 appointment. I may be gone to the courts before she returns. I have to be sure to remember that I hold my racquet in my right hand!
I was up by 6:20 this morning so my FP is long gone. I actually made the coffee at the pro shop as the pro was grooming the courts but it was a difficult task as they use Folgers👎 but I kind of closed my eyes and did the deed. I did take the liberty to put an extra scope of grounds in and maybe that helped a bit.
Enough for this morning.
