Day 20, "Every picture has a story"
Here we are at the age of 13, 7 and 10. Dad did like to take pictures for Christmas with those home made signs and lettering. As I think about it I suspect Mom made the signs. I would say those ties that Dave and I have are pretty fancy! What the heck, I think Mom and Dad could have become rich if they would have promoted Helen with some advertising firm!!! I do think they could have placed the plastic tree to the side of Helen.
Yesterday the company came that is putting in new hurricane windows. We are having 8 windows and the french doors replaced with hurricane strength glass. The two guys who were here worked like a well oiled machine and they finished ALL 8 windows. They will come again this morning and work on the new sliding french doors and then clean up the window glass so by the time they finish, (maybe 3) they will have put in about about 26 man hours and finished the entire job. It seems like they are doing a very good job. The current french doors swing open but the new ones will slide. It will be a wait and see if we open them up as we never did with the old ones.
For some reason I was in a vanilla mood yesterday for tennis. I think I was still tired from the match on Wednesday. Seems kind of strange but I think that was the case. It lingered all day but today is a new day and I feel more alive!
Tennis at 10:30 today so time this morning to do some things. When I walked out at 6 to get the paper the water fountain was completely out of water. I don't know how that happened as it should have been 3/4 full. Maybe an alligator was thirsty! No no no.
My FP is already cool and I still have about 3 1/2 sips left so need to head to the kitchen and heat it up as one should not waste good coffee.
