TERRY
Terry has the first of four sessions at water works this afternoon. I would say that her health is pretty much the same as we head into the new year with hope and expectations that she will improve. I think we will have a better idea after this week as she will work in two sessions of water therapy and then two sessions of physical therapy which will also be in the water. I think they will do a thirty day evaluation early next week to see if we can continue to have the sessions. Lord, please bring healing and give Terry the energy to work hard to rehab.
I do not have any big plans for the week. Well there will be tennis every day and that will be good. BUT in terms of other things not much. I will start a folder for 2020 tax papers that will start coming in the mail soon. Usually we get most if not all papers by the end of January. Taxes will be a lot easier this year as last year Terry had the sale of her home in Minnesota to take into consideration and this year there is nothing like that. So my goal will be to have things in order and ready by the end of February. There should be no frustration like last year with that sale and all that went with that.
I am over the top with frustration with this darn Apple desk top. I am guessing I have spent many hours trying to get it out of "guest" mode and into my name but with no success. I could go to the Apple store and talk to them but I promise when we drive to therapy this afternoon we will go past the store and there will be a long line outside of the store waiting to get in and that will be like 3:30. I am terrible at waiting in line but then I am also terrible at making headway at home too with this darn thing.
I think we are on our way to becoming rich!!! We pretty much, live on pensions that Terry and I get. All of them are a set amount that does NOT go up at all but are the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. BUT the only one that is subject to increase is the pension from St. Paul Schools. The last three years the increase has been -0- BUT starting with the January check that comes today there is a $39 increase for each month!!! I am making it sound like it is nothing but in reality everything helps and $39 is $39 that one can use for something. I should be, and I am, thankful for the pension from my teaching days. Now days very few people have a pension but rather they get money as they work and then they need to invest it for retirement. Retiring from teaching at the age of 60 meant I gave up some of the pension that would have increased with years but given the situation it was a good thing.
No here it is 6:30 AM and maybe the paper is here. It usually comes about this time. I have heard Terry stirring some but have not heard her voice so am hoping she is still asleep. I will check for the paper, refill my cup with FP and get on with the day. I could add that I am becoming a bit itchy about may a second book but it is only that, itchy!
