I can't believe I missed yesterday!

Terry had one session in the water yesterday.  For the next FOUR weeks she has double sessions on Tuesday and Thursday so at the end of those we will see where she is.  At this time perhaps the biggest issue is her balance   I feel she is strong enough to walk without the walker BUT her balance is not good at this point.  I feel she is getting stronger each week.  At this time we no longer use the wheelchair in the house as she moves about with the walker.  We do use the wheelchair when we go out and about.  She does have a Dr. appt this afternoon  as I want someone to look at a raised red mark on her left calf.  It is red, has had some bleeding and is raised so I feel a medical person needs to look at it.  I am guessing it is not serious but I want to be sure.  She will not see the Dr. but the PA.

I feel my left lower side is on the mend BUT no tennis yet.  I intend to give it a try Monday.  

Terry's daughter Kim is in town for a few days so we saw her yesterday and will see her again today.  She is a coach and some of her people are doing the half marathon in Naples this weekend.  

So here we are pretty much at the halfway point of January.  Hard to believe that we are already into that much of 2021.  As I look ahead to the months coming up I am wondering if we will get to Minnesota this summer.  Terry is getting better BUT 2094 Niles has 16 steps up to the bedroom and 14 steps down to the basement.  Can Terry do that in the summer months?  Not sure but we will continue to take it one day at a time and see what comes.

With all that is going on in my life I felt that maybe I needed to take a break from tennis BUT then I saw this and decided to stay on the court as long as I can!  I will say that now in normal daily life my left side is NOT painful but on the court?  I will give it a try Monday.  

Enough for today.  I finished my FP about an hour ago so I am good for the rest of the day.
