 TERRY

Terry worked with the OT person yesterday in the pool and she said it was a VERY good workout.  Again, in the pool she can pretty much stay on her feet without much help.  Today she goes in for her fifth session of the week.  They are beginning to encourage her to use the pool here at home.  We will have to talk as I know she would find it too cold and I am not sure it can be heated much more as the outside temps have been fairly cool.  We will have to wait and see.  As I write she has been up and used the commode but is now quiet and maybe she is sleeping.  I asked her IF she wanted the paper yet and she said she would like to close her eyes for a bit.

Sonia will be here at 8:00 today instead of 10:00.  There is NO food for her to prepare so I should find other things for her to do.  Well I did leave the kitchen a mess so there is some work there!

I got someone to take my place for tennis today.  I felt a twinge while playing yesterday but that is all it was.  Then a short time after I got home I had a BIG sneeze and I almost thought someone stabbed me in my left side!  It is very very sore and I can hardly do anything without it hurting so I will stay off the courts for three days and see what happens.  

This reminds me of Florida drivers licenses.  I got mine in January of 2012.  They have a picture of the person on it and the licenses are good for 8 years.  You only have to get a new picture every other license so that means during the last year of my second license the picture will be 15 years old.  I am wondering if I get stopped in 2027 and the police look at my picture IF they will think it is me???  I hope I age with grace but I do think I MAY look different at the age of 81 compared to the age of 65!

I made some kielbasa soup last night and then had it in the slow cooker all night long.  I tasted it this morning and I would give it an A.  It has smoked turkey kielbasa, onion, green pepper, celery, garlic, chicken broth, beans, tomatoes, zucchini, carrots and parsley flakes.  I am almost sad that we don't have cold weather!!!

Not much on the agenda today other than Terry's session.  I should really stop at the Apple store while Terry is at therapy as this darn computer is stuck on "visitor" mode which means I can not access some of the things I need to.  I have tried to fix it to no avail.  I need Dave on the phone but found out that our long distance phone does not reach to heaven so no luck.  

I am thinking that I should start my card making for 2021 but for some reason I do not have the "get up and go" like I need so the cards may fall by the wayside OR they may be made just a few days before they are to be sent.  Last year I had them all made early in the winter and it was so nice.  MAYBE I can urge myself to get busy, I said maybe!

I am on my last cup of FP and really that should get me going but as of this minute I seem to be stuck in neural but then I guess that is better than being in reverse!  Time to sign off.
