TERRY
It is 7:35 and we are up and about. Terry is reading the paper as I blog this morning. I would say we had a good start to the New Year yesterday as Terry walked to the living room and back twice! If we keep that up and perhaps increase it and then with her 4 therapy sessions next week I feel we will be off to a good start for the new year. MAYBE by the end of January Terry will be able to walk alone with a cane or maybe even without a cane! One can only plan, hope and pray, right?
Again it will be a day of pretty much staying at home. On Saturdays several of the guys get together on the tennis courts and kind of do a round robin thing as they change every 4 games. I thought I would sit it out today BUT I may change my mind and go over.
I did NOT make any new year resolutions BUT I do need to keep away from the fridge a bit more! I got on the scale yesterday and will get on it again in a week. Not sure what will happen but I will give it a try. I have noticed that if a person can take off maybe 5-8 pounds it does add at least a half step to the tennis game.
I have my little game with the stock market and it will be fun to see what happens on Monday. IF the market goes up a bit maybe I can afford to stop at Starbucks and get an Americano!!! I used to do that maybe once every two weeks or so but have not been there for a long time. I will just have to wait and see if that Tesla stock gives me enough for a special drink!
I do not understand what is happening in the house. As I sit in the den at the computer and look back towards the couch the place is a mess. I am sure it was not me!!! Then I go into the kitchen and sure enough there is a mess there too! ON the bright side I did get done on New Years Day what Terry always likes to have done. The Christmas things are all put away and even the wreaths on the garage are down and in the garage attic. So now the dining room table is all clear for me to get the papers out and mess it up again as I start to prepare for tax season! Well it is kind of early but you know the saying about the early bird gets the worm.
New Year is a time for memories, right?
