TERRY
As I begin my blog this Monday morning it is 10:20 and my Terry is sound asleep. She has now managed to kick ALL of her bedding onto the floor 3 times since last night at 11:00 PM. She is getting pretty darn good at getting attention!!! BUT she is sleeping which maybe means she did not sleep well last night. So nothing new. I had intended to go for a bike ride before the heat comes but of course will wait until Terry is awake.
Well it is kind of the beginning of a new season as I have tennis scheduled for 4 days this week and that is good. I have been on this track to lose some weight but all I have seen in the last 8 days is down 3. That is not enough but will continue to work at it.
I may stop at the pro shop today and schedule a half hour lesson with Phil as I have not done that for a long time. Will it help? Well here I am having started tennis 10 years ago but I play only 7 months of the year. AND then there is factoring in the broken wrist, the torn muscle that required 6 months and 35 PT sessions and lastly caring for Terry AND I am now closer to 75 than 74 you be the judge if I can improve!!! I will give it the old college try. Oh my I forgot I finished the last of my college 45 years ago so that may not be present anymore. Well, what the heck I will just live one day at a time and thank the Lord for each day and let the tennis ball land where it will.
I am guessing Joan and Ron are starting to get excited about the big day, October 16th when they celebrate 60 years of marriage. I know they realize that they are so blessed to be able to do that. I have no idea what % of marriages last that long but I do know NOT many. I give them a lot of credit. Given they are blessed to both be here but also anyone who has a marriage that long know that life is full of ups and downs and level times also. Way to go Joan and Ron and may there be many many more.
I really have little to say today. I really want to get out on the bike for a short ride so Terry needs to wake up!!!
I see where Rutland ND had their annual UFFDA days last weekend and it looked like they had perfect weather for the day. It looks and sounds like a wonderful annual event. It is so nice to see a small rural town like that being able to survive and with flying colors. I remember the year they made the 3500+ pound hamburger as Dad was there with his camera.
No the FP is almost finished and I am too.
