Terry
Terry slept until 9:30 this morning but is now awake and reading the paper with the TV on. She is doing fine today.
Well I got a note this morning that Terry D, who set up the court today, could not find a 4th person so NO tennis today. I will have tennis tomorrow and I think Friday and Saturday as well. So I need to get on the bike and get some exercise this morning and will do that after I sign off the blog.
I did get some work done this morning. I had cards made for the rest of the year, a total of nine. So I got them addressed, stamped and ready to go for the remainder of 2021. Now all I have to do is look at the date which is on the back in small numbers and mail at the right time! Now it is almost time to start thinking about 2022 cards. I thought maybe I would forgo the card making for next year but I went to Walmart and changed my mind. Terry asked me if I would get three sympathy cards that she needs to send. At the check out I paid $10.50 for three cards and as I stood there I decided I would again make my cards for next year!!! It is hard to figure out accurately how much it cost to make a card but a good estimate would be around $.15 or so and then they are personal as well so will put on my thinking cap in the weeks ahead and get going on the 40+ cards that I make.
I did give Terry my first draft of our Christmas letter and will revise it over the next couple of days and then print it and get the envelopes ready. It will be short this year. My goal is to have them ready to mail the day after Thanksgiving so I have a lot of time. AND as one might guess IF you read my blog I do have time on my hands.
I often think of sister Joan and hubby Ron as they come closer to their celebration of 60 years of marriage. I do wish I could fly out but that is out of the question. The big day is October 16th.
My good friend Larry F is getting over the covid thing as he said he is going out to shoot today so he must be getting better!
