Here we are at October 5, 2021

 TERRY

It is afternoon as I write.  Terry is reading the paper as this morning she just wanted to rest her eyes and not read.  I would say she is same same as the last few days.  

Here is it 1:30 in the afternoon and I have not a whole lot to say.  I did play tennis this morning and I think this tennis thing is almost out of hand in terms of schedule.  There are a few of us who have been here all summer and able to play really any time without scheduling.  BUT times change as people come back for the winter.  We will see how it works out.  I kind of think I am out of  the "upset" mode and I am just going to go along with what happens.  I have come to the conclusion that it is an uphill battle to work with that and I have my own battles here so will let the tennis one slide.  

I found out WHY Sonia is not back!!!  She is back but not with us.  Her boss wants her to work more than the 2 hours we had her and she does have another person who she works with who needs more help.  SO I have to make a decision as to what I am going to do.  I think my choices are 

a. go it alone

b. go with the same agency but with a different person coming into our home

c. go with another agency that is more flexible IF there is one

Perhaps I want/need the perfect person to come in and that person may not exist.  

We got our meals again this week and today I made tacos with pork, green peppers, pineapple and a seasoning.  Terry said it was very good.  I have not looked at what is on for tomorrow as the meals come three for the week.

I will say not more other than to admit the weight loss is not going so well.  I am drinking a lot of water and I thought that would help BUT I guess I need to cut down more on the food.  Maybe it is OK for a 74 year old guy to be fat?

I know it is only October BUT I did write a first draft of our Christmas letter.  It is going to be short.  Nothing about the grand kids this year but maybe a history of all of them in 2022!!!!!

I ma finished for now so will admit that I did have my FP after tennis and maybe that is the reason I did not play well!

I got a big chuckle out of that.  But growing up that would not have happened.  Granted Dad really did not buy a lot of guns but if or when he did Mom probably did not even know about it.  AND for sure you did not see him doing house work!!!
