TERRY
As I sit down to blog at 8:40 Terry is sleeping and the entire day is ahead. Terry has a zoom Dr. visit at 9:45 this morning. I do wish it was an "in office" kind of visit but I also know getting Terry into the car and then into the office would have been challenge for sure. I have never been part of a zoom Dr. visit so we will see how it goes. At this time Terry continues to hold her own but she is not getting better. It is difficult to know because she just does not have any strength now. So how is one to know that being unable to get out of bed translates into other medial problems? I do need to start a track sheet of everything that Terry does so I can get an accurate picture of where she is. I do not like to admit it but just having things in my memory is not working for me. I know, I am 74 but I like to think I am a young 74. I mean I can hang on to that, right!!!!!!!
I cancelled my 9:00 tennis as I need to be home for the zoom visit. I do not know what to expect and am thinking that I really need that office visit but I am hoping we can get some answers this way.
I would say Terry had a pretty good day yesterday. Yes, she does not eat enough but she does eat and being in bed all the time does not take much energy. I purchased some egg rolls and she ate about 75% of one. Yes, you are right I ate the last of it and did NOT need it.
Terry did have a short episode of throwing up at 1:00 AM this morning. After about 10 minutes she was OK and went back to sleep but there will be another load of clothes to wash this morning! I am hoping she wakes up in the next 30 minutes as her zoom is in 45 minutes and I think she would be better if she goes into that having been awake for some time.
I am out of words for the day but picture time from way way back!
Bath time for Travis at the camp grounds
We moved to 2094 Niles in the fall of 1977. The OLD picket fence and the bushes had to go and it was a breeze when you had great labor!
Home sweet home in Lincoln Nebraska for 6 weeks as Carmen went to school in the summer of 1972. It may not look like much but I promise you the people who stayed in the dorm were jealous.
