TERRY
It is 1:30 and as I write Terry is sleeping. She has the paper on her tummy with zzz coming from the bedroom. She has been awake since about 7:00. She has an appointment to get that chest tomorrow to get that chest x ray. I thought we could just walk in but NO. We brought the samples in yesterday for the lab work and I then intended to drive over the the hospital and get things finished but they told me we had to have an appointment so tomorrow it is. Terry seems about the same but with somewhat of a decline in her energy. She has not gone out to the living room for the last 6 days as she enjoys her bed with the TV on.
Oh my I have to be careful here. Terry has so little to look forward to so when things do not work out in the right way I get upset. She sent out birthday checks to some family members and it being a month ago she has not heard back! She so looks forward to those thank you notes and they always cheers her up but!
Well I am finished with the 2022 calendar!!! I will send in the order this afternoon. I have spent much time and gone over it MANY times but you can bet money that there are some mistakes OR I forgot something. I guess all I can do is say, "I did my best". I would say with 124 pictures and 75 dates like birthdays, weddings, deaths etc there may be a good chance that something is left out or forgotten. Anyway this will be the 5 year that I have made a calendar and I am sure it will the most complete and best! We will see what my siblings think!!!
I got distracted and here it is past 3:00 and I have accomplished very little if anything today so far. anyway I may post a couple of pictures from the calendar before I sign off.
One of my favorite pictures of Mom and Dad. Dad is being silly with his broken leg and Mom has this big hug and smile on her face. A great picture.
I am guessing this was taken in late 1947. We all look happy! Helen came a couple years later.
