I am ready!!!

 TERRY

Wow Terry was my sleeping beauty this morning.  She fell asleep about 8:30 last night as I was taking a short swim and she slept until 8:30 this morning as she just asked for the paper.  We have no plans for the day.  Terry is the same as she has been for a few days.

Maybe I will sit at my computer ALL day and watch the rain gauge that sits outside the window.  I emptied it yesterday afternoon and as it showed 2.6" of rain.  There is only a trace in it now but we are supposed to have rain pretty much all day thanks to the hurricane that looks to bypass Naples while moving north over the gulf coast.  Of course there is NO tennis today and I am guessing maybe even not tomorrow as well.  We need the rain so what ever we get will be welcome.  Well IF we get double figure rainfall maybe that is not so good.  We will see.  I think it will be a good day to continue to get some work done on the huge pile of papers that need attention.
Well I think the South Bend Lees are on the road.  From home to Havre MT, where they plan to stay the night of the 8th, it is 1400+ miles so do not know where they are staying but I think they plan to arrive in Havre the afternoon of the 8th.  Then in the afternoon of the 9th they will head to the west coast to visit Mary's aunt.
No here is more from the book:

Dakota Attitude

"Christmas was special to John, Joy and their four children, and traditional Christmas remains special.  Joy describes how one year, with little money for gifts, John made each daughter a doll crib.  Joy made the mattress, sheets, pillow, pillowcases, and blandkets for the cribs.  With grateful pride, Joy reports that the doll quilt she made for her daughter many Christmases ago hangs on her granddaughters's bedroom wall today. "

"Magnus "Mike" Olafson was born and grew up on the farm his Icelandic grandparents homesteaded near Gardar.  To my knowledge, he says, I have never been anyplace else on Christmas or Christmas Eve other than the house where I was born.  Last Christmas was my 90th Christmas on the farm.  My parents built that house the year they were married, a great tradition."

That is pretty much it for today.  Here it is almost 9:30 and the weather looks like there is anywhere a 80-100% chance of rain throughout the day so I think it is a day to stay home and get some things done OR watch tennis OR take a nap OR read a book.  The FP is gone so the day should begin.
