Welcome to March of 2021

 TERRY

Time flies and I THINK this week is the last of her 30 day schedule.  Will they renew her schedule again?  I hope they do but I will be surprised IF they do.  She has been going to WT for a few months now but we will see what happens when they evaluate next week, I think.

As I look at the 10 day forecast it shows mostly 80's so we are in for a warm stretch but then here we are already into March so I guess one could expect that.

I have tennis today at 3:00 as our two court matches got bumped to the afternoon.  Karl, who organizes it, is out of town so I guess it is up to Rich and I to set up the pairings.  We play 45 minutes and then change pairings.  The group that I usually play with on Tuesday and Thursday got bumped out of the morning tomorrow so it looks like NO tennis tomorrow.

Terry and I had a quiet weekend.  We received a delicious meal last night from our next door neighbors who have been so very good to us.

It was once again very very good.

I am not such a good cook but I did make a pizza last week that was good.  It was one of those where you buy the dough, sauce and ingredients and then just put it together.  I actually thought I did kind of an OK job with it.

Actually it was as good as it looks.  AND I post this picture for another reason which I will share on March 31st.

So our schedule for the week is therapy on Tuesday and Thursday with my tennis on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.  I also have a goal of completing our taxes this week so they can be sent in next Monday.  I am not sure I can do that but I will give it a try.

JUST A WORD ABOUT THE PICTURE FOR THIS MONTH
Now Dad was awful at playing catch with Dave and I.  He was awful at hitting balls to us.  He was awful at teaching us how to fix things.  BUT HE WAS A GREAT DAD IN MANY WAYS.  One of the things that he did with skill and passion was photography.  As I look at the family pictures I wonder IF we took family pictures after Ronald and Janet left home for college.  I am thinking the picture on the lower right may be when they lived in Ellendale but not sure.  Ronald died when I was a senior in high school so there is a huge gap between the latest picture and when he died.  I also wonder IF there are pictures of the kids with their spouses.  I have a lot of pictures but really very few if any of say Glorine/Ronald, Janet/John, Joan/Ron, Marlys/Dave etc.  I do not remember Dad ever taking pictures like that and I am sure they must have at times come home for holidays etc.  Maybe not so much as we did not have places for people to stay over night.  Anyway this is kind of a CALL OUT to any of my siblings IF they have couple pictures just send a copy my way!!!
I do remember how I felt about my older siblings.  I felt like they were next to God.  I just thought they were the best ever and when they would come home in the late 50s and early 60s I thought I had died and gone to heaven.  Well I have to confess that one, just one of the things, of the reasons it was so special when they came home was IF Dad happened to be in one of his not so happy moods his face would light up when they came home and then when they left he stayed happy!!!  I do have to say that perhaps the two favorites to come home were Ronald and John and WHY???  Well the answer is so easy.  They were into hunting and they both had boats.  BUT the biggest of course was HUNTING.  For some reason Dad thought anyone who liked hunting and shooting was very smart and fun to be with!
OK, enough about family for today.

Here I am at 8:10 and all worded out!  I am sipping FP out of my Delta Junction, Alaska cup this morning and I think I have one cup left so will sign off and enjoy the last of the FP.
