TERRY
As I write it is 7:45 and Terry is busy reading the newspaper. She was awake at 6:30. Yesterday she used the walker to go back and forth from the bedroom to the living room several times. We will see today how she does and I am hoping she will do it even more. Are her legs getting stronger? It is hard to say but the walking can only help.
I have tennis at 10:30 this morning. That is about it for me for the day. I will make a trip to the grocery store to purchase items for Easter Sunday. I am planning to have a standing rib roast, a potato dish and asparagus for the veggie. Pretty simple but hopefully good.
I know that many people do the brackets for the NCAA BB. It often is a big deal in offices etc as people often put money where their mouth is! Well I do not have office people or anyone who likes that kind of thing so I just do my own for the fun of it. Well I am thinking I should have been in some pool! My sheet has 3 of the final 4 teams. I know it is NOT important but kind of fun to follow how things go. It will be fun to see if Gonzaga can win it all. Nobody has gone undefeated for something like 45 years and here they are two wins away from a perfect season. I have followed them a bit as one of their most important players, Jalen Suggs who is a freshman, is the big star. As a student at Minnehaha Academy in Minneapolis he was Mr. Football AND Mr. Basketball as a senior. It is always fun to see athletes from you state do well on the national scene.
In my quest to write about ALL my grandchildren in the month of March I will feature the two youngest Adkins today. John Paul will be 3 in July and Maximilian will be 2 in November. Now what can one say about young boys that age? It would be unfair to say they will be super athletic because maybe they will focus on music instead! It would be unfair to say they will be future doctors because maybe they will be farmers or trades people. So I will say what I know.
They both are good looking, energetic, REAL boys, healthy and have a BRIGHT future to look towards!
There they are, Maximilian and John Paul
