TERRY
Terry remains about the same. I think she is about ready to venture out on an indoor walk with the walker which she has not done since her fall. We still have concerns about her broken finger from that fall even though is has been X Rayed. Her stitches are out and her upper left arm is healing but of course there will be a scare there. Her next outing is Thursday as she get evaluated for another 30 days of water therapy.
Here it is after 2:00 PM and I am just getting on the computer. I can not believe it but I just laid my head on the pillow at 11:40 for a bit and woke up at 1:30. My intention was NOT to nap at that hour but it did feel good.
I played tennis at 7:30 AM and it was kind of chilly but once one got into the game it was nice. We have 6 tennis courts here and we were the only ones out at that time. I thought that my partner and I were going to get smoked as we played against perhaps better players but not today. We won 6-4 and then lost 6-3 so it was a fun outing.
I did make a run to the store as I should try to make Terry's "Swedish Meatballs" which look to me as being somewhat difficult! Maybe I will try later today.
We are in a "cool" weather pattern. It looks like maybe low to mid 70s for the next 10 days. That is actually a welcome relief from some of the 80s we have been having.
I think that early nap took most of my energy as I have nothing else to say today.
I was happy to get a package from sister Joan. In it were a jar of her homemade jam that she says goes really good on toast BUT the big item was several pieces of lefsa. I quickly ate two but I have to save some for the future. Darn I should try to make it sometime.
I am hoping everyone stays healthy and safe as this darn covid sickness seems to be getting worse.
