We are looking at 80s again

As I sit at the desk looking at this computer I glance out the window and it is DARK.  Tennis starts in 30 minutes and the sun comes up in 41 minutes!  The tennis ball may be kind of like the experience of sitting in a deer stand early in the morning.  As the horizon begins to lighten up slowly oh so slowly the landscape around you comes into focus.  As one looks out over the terrain trees, rocks, hills and wildlife magically comes into view.  That may be the tennis ball at 7:30 this morning!  I am just hoping that my opponent does not hit a laser shot head high before I can see!!!  It just seems to not make any sense getting dressed for tennis as the outside world is still dark dark dark.  I am wondering if I need a head light on my bike as I ride over!

Not much to say this morning.  I did get a tiny amount of work done over the weekend.  On the desk is a pile of 4 birthday cards that need to go out in March.  So I did get something done.  All I need to do is address and put stamps on them.  They will be mailed out over the next two weeks.

The pool water will be warm again by this afternoon which I will enjoy.

Kind of a busy week in our world.  I will play team tennis on Tuesday and Wednesday.  Terry has a couple of appointments.  We both will get haircuts AND the big day is next Sunday.  We have tickets to see Itzak Perlman.  To hear him in concert has been on Terry's bucket list and Sunday it will happen.  I know, it does NOT sound like it is a busy week and in the real world it is NOT.  BUT here I am retired and having several things one must go to make it busy!
