This is crazy

This is crazy.  We arrived home to St. Paul Friday at noon and now my legs are very sore from going up and down the stairs.  I realize I was healing for a long time since my surgery in January but REALLY how can one be so out of shape?  Of course it will pass but it certainly took me by surprise.
We are having a very cool morning.  As I write it is 57 and most of the day will be in the 60s.  Maybe it will reach 70 by late afternoon.  A big difference from Naples!
Terry and I were able to get some things done yesterday but as I look around the den I see there is much to do to settle in for the summer.  AND I see that the work is still in front of me: weeds in the beds, garden unplanted, new kitchen windows unpainted etc. etc. etc.!!!  I did kind of go through my upstairs closet and culled out some clothes that I have not worn for years.  I think that is a start but then I say maybe I am just avoiding the real work.  Would I do that???
We had a nice rain yesterday.  The lawn looks nice.  Travis put down crab grass killer this spring and now I need to put monthly feed down to try and keep it nice.  At one time it was more than a disaster but now it could compete with any in the neighborhood but then I would say the houses around us would not make the "great lawn" post for sure.  To be sure I am NOT trying to have the best lawn I just would like it to be green with grass and not weedy or bare!
I am enjoying my FP in my camp cup that Terry purchased for me years ago.  Time for a bit of breakfast.
