Home at last

Yes that is IF you park your car yourself at the Grand Ole Opry Hotel in Nashville and that is a daily rate!!!
I thought about the 20 minutes free but then would not know what to do!
We arrived at 2094 Niles yesterday just before noon.  That was after 2151 miles with stops in PeachTree City Ga for a HS graduation, a night at the Grand Ole Opry Hotel in Nashville, a night in Memphis TN with a visit to Graceland, two nights with sister Helen in Holiday Island AK and a night in Grimes IA to visit Terry's son and wife.  We got the car unpacked and that was about it for yesterday.
We have a LONG list of things to do today and will try to get some finished.  The highlight for me was coming home to new windows in the kitchen.  NO storms or screens just open them up to let the cool night breeze in.  The inside needs to be painted and that will get done soon but for the first time in 40 springs there are NO storms to take off and screens to put on.
There has been rain so the lawn looks great as Travis mowed it just before we got home.  Of course the flower beds need a lot of work as does the garden as that should have been planted already but maybe today if rain holds off.
Enough for now as breakfast and FP is calling.
