WOW I have missed a day and NO reason for sure!

Terry is about the same today.  Here it is PM on Wednesday and she is in the bedroom with the TV on.  No news at this time so all is good.

Wow I have come to the conclusion that I need to start a business!!!  We have a dish washer that is not working.  It has not been working for some time and I am tired of dishwasher hands so I started calling this afternoon for repair.  So far I have made several calls and have at this time given up.  I did talk to three business and they are scheduled out THREE weeks!  Several others I left a message.  So I am guessing it will be dishwasher hands for some time!  Well I guess it is not the worst to go way way back to the 60s when Joan was the washer and Dave and I did the drying!!!  Really my hands have not looked this good in a long time as I have been doing dishes for some time now.  AND it may be a lot longer!

Not a whole lot to say today.  I slept kind of late so had breakfast after tennis.  Jack and I lost but it was fun.

I just received a call and we have an appointment to have the dishwasher looked at NEXT Tuesday between 12:00-2:00.  It amazes me that in a place where there are many many businesses that can repair the wait time it out a week to 3 weeks.  Really I am almost tempted to just go with the HAND wash of dishes but for sure it is much much easier to have the dish washer working!!!  I know at the age of 75 I have become kind of lazy!!!

Here it is past 4:00 and time to look to see how much money I lost in the market today.  I am hoping that it is not more than a dollar ninety-eight!!!  I really do have some work to do as it looks like a new roof is in order for 2094 Niles in St. Paul and I need to find a way to pay for it.  I am not hurting for $$ but I do NOT have the $10,000-$20,000 for a new roof at my finger tips.  I should find out tomorrow what it may cost.  If I was a betting man I would say $16,000.  We will see and I may not be happy 😖.  It is what it is.  I do think that I am kind of OK in that the house is most likely worth about 8 times what we paid for it so maybe I should not complain but really it is difficult to think about making arrangements to have the roof done without actually being there.  I know, life goes on and is always interesting in many ways!!!

Enough for today.  Maybe more tomorrow IF I hear about the cost!  AND yes I had the FP this morning and it was the best!!!
