I would say that Terry is same same.  As I write she is finishing the Sunday paper and doing well.  

I think I am getting kind of the old age mentality in terms of some of the modern age things that are happening.  Some examples are:

• It looks like Aaron Rogers is set to sign a 4 year contract for 50 M a year.  That almost makes me want to stop watching football.  That means he will be getting the same amount as 667 teachers in St. Paul who get the average salary.  Really--a football player equal in value to 667 educators!!!  Other than the fact I must have been in the wrong profession it almost makes me sick!!!!
• It looks like the STARTING salary for a major league baseball player this year will be somewhere in the $700,000 range for a rookie.
• In basketball the average salary is north of 12 M!
• St. Paul schools could hire 16 new teachers for the cost of the minimum starting salary in baseball.  It looks like sport figures are a lot lot more important than educators.  I know that it is a LOT harder to get on a baseball team than get a job as a teachers but still I wonder where our values are!

Well I think that is enough of that kind of information.  Of course each person chooses their profession and only a small number could play sports but still the money involved is pretty crazy.

I do not remember if I posted this picture in the past but even if I did I would say it is worth looking at again as it is spectacular I think.  It reminds me of some of Dad's pictures in terms of quality.  

As I walked out to get the paper this morning I thought wow it is chilly and almost cold.  It was 45 so I then checked the temp in the pool and it was down to 80 so I am sure people feel sorry for me!!!!!

I know this sounds kind of morbid but I did some research after Richard, a classmate, passed away last week.  At least 18% of our classmates have died.  I could not do any research on the gal as I do not know their last name now.  All 10 that I am aware of are men.  Well just so you know at the age of 75 one starts to think about those things!

No I am going to the store as I have an idea for a meal for Terry today so will sign off and make this kind of a short blog today.  I may pick it up later but not sure but will post now.  The FP was just OK today.
