TERRY
As I begin to write it it almost 9:30 and Terry has read the paper and is comfortable in bed with some snacks and watching Saturday morning TV. I would say she is same same so that is good. No plans for the day. I should say I did find some outfits that she may like to buy for the upcoming wedding in Georgia as granddaughter Tori will be getting married. If anybody who reads this has one you like you could let me know.
I figured second from left or third from left!!! Actually this was in the WSJ and I am thinking they may be a good fit for going trick or treating on Halloween! I am serious when I say THESE are part of the trend for spring. I admit I do NOT like them but then I may be old fashion!!!
On a serious note I have begun to try to figure out what and how we do the trip to the wedding in May. The wedding is two months from this coming Monday. I am guessing it will not be an easy trip but I promise you Terry will make it if I have to wheel her in the wheelchair all 700 miles!
Well here we are on a Saturday and I will take a rest from tennis today and tomorrow as I usually do. I do have much clean up in the house to take care of and actually I promised a friend yesterday that I would call this weekend for some help in the home. I do think I am doing OK with being chief homemaker and caregiver but some relief in the mornings would be welcome. Actually a lot more than just welcome.
I am pretty much not into watching sports on TV anymore but I did sit down and watch the basketball game last night between Saint Peters University in New Jersey and Purdue. Purdue has 41,500 students and Saint Peters has 3,200. Purdue was #3 in the bracket and Saint Peters was #15. Really I did not care who won but it is always fun to see the underdog win and win they did last night. It will be a memory for those players that will last them the rest of their lives. Of course the players on these teams are HUGE. Purdue had a center who is 7' 4" and most of the players were somewhere between 6' 4" and 6' 10" while Saint Peters ranged from 6' 1" to 6' 10". I guess you could call college BB the land of the giants.
Well I do not have a lot of things to say today. I may get on the bike and see who is playing tennis this morning as the day is just such a perfect day. Other than that it will be stay at home and try to clear up some of the messes I usually create on a fairly regular bases! The FP is history so time to sign off for the day.
