Some how I missed yesterday.

As I write it is mid afternoon and Terry is watching TV.  I would say things are same same.  One day at a time as I say!

My son John asked me to watch Henry's game from last night.  They were in the state playoffs.  I watched the entire game and I had some thoughts.  I would say it was a competitive game with both sides being pretty aggressive in defense.  As the 4th quarter got under way Trinity had been flagged for 8 fouls and their opponents ZERO.  I think that pretty much summed up the game as I need say no more.  To Trinity's credit they fought to the end but of course were on the losing end of the score.  That is the end of Henry's high school BB.  I would say AFTER the disappoint of last night he should be proud of the way he played.    Actually the game brought me back to my HS days as one might guess.  Our last regular season game before the district tournament was at Lisbon.  It should have been a close game but we lost by double digits.  I fouled out early in the 4th quarter and I remember at least two of the calls I did not touch the guy!  Well one can guess it was AT Lisbon.  That being said when one engages in sports you need to take the good, the bad and the ugly in stride and after a day or so leave it behind IF that is possible.  I do think Henry will be in track as will Liam.  So for the South Bend Lees and for Henry the clock is ticking on Henry's senior year.  My goodness the time does fly.  Really it does not seem all that long ago that Gail and I walked down to John/Mary's and took baby Henry for a ride in the stroller.  Now I am kind of talking like an old man which is not all that bad as I am one!!!

Things are about the same here.  I played tennis this morning but arrived about 10 minutes late.  Yes, I slept too long but then there were also some things that needed to be done before I left which I need not get into.  My partner and I lost in some close matches but I will say being on the court and playing is a blessing regardless if you win or lose.  BUT I like to win of course.

I have made NO progress on taxes in the last few days but I am expecting some info that Travis sent which should come today.  That may be all the info I need to finish the paper work and send it in.  I am thinking that, as usual, Terry and I will get some money back.

Now it is past 2:45 PM so will sign off for the day.  I did have my FP after tennis and it was outstanding.
