TERRY
Terry is sleeping as I write and I would say is doing the same. She has been doing better to some degree over the last few days and of course I am hoping the trend continues.
Terry's daughter Kim visited yesterday for a couple of hours and will be back today with ALL four of the Archbold grandkids this afternoon. I am not sure time they will be here but maybe afternoon sometime. I guess Zach needs to get back to Atlanta later today but I think the other three will be in town until Friday. They will not be staying with their Nana but I am assuming will be visiting tomorrow as well. Terry has not seen them for maybe a couple of years so for her it will be a grand day.
I have tennis at 9:00 this morning and that is all I have planned. I think I need to go to Walmart and get a turkey for Thanksgiving. Next weeks flyer came out for the grocery store and there was not a mention of turkeys in it. The paper today indicated that they may be in short supply in many places. I think Walmart had Butterball turkeys for $.98 and that may be the best price one can find this year. Maybe I had better get there before they sell out. It seems like it is a crazy world as many many things are in short supply now. I finally got a case of tennis balls ordered and actually the price was not too bad. I think under normal times a sleeve of 3 balls can be had for maybe $2.50 and I paid just over $3 so I felt that was not bad. I did find one place where they were normal price but it said they would arrive by December 15th. I am guessing they were coming on a slow boat from China OR maybe are sitting in a container off the coast of CA!!!
I was reading about Musk and his Tesla cars in the WSJ this morning. He is considering selling 10% of his stock for something like 21B. The focus of the article was if a person owns stock it may be a time to sell. Well I have a few stocks but will not be selling. I think it went down yesterday like 6% or something. IF I had considerable stock I may act but when a person has a few or a couple why bother? I guess my thinking puts me in the class of "stock for fun' rather then "stock to gain wealth"!
Terry's new medical people are supposed to call today to set up an appointment tomorrow. Not sure how that is going to work with the grandkids here but I do think she needs to keep her medical appointments as this company is new so we need to see who things are going to play out as I have hopes that it will be a good thing and Terry will improve.
