TERRY
As I write this morning the hospital says Terry is resting and doing OK. Yesterday was a scare to put it in a mild way. About mid afternoon yesterday Terry became incoherent and slurrying her words. She asked for water which I gave her but I decided this was a 911 call. When the ambulance came one of the people almost sounded like it was a none emergency type of situation. BUT off they went to the hospital and I was "did I do something that did not need to be done?" Well when she got to the hospital they determined that she was suffering from severe blood loss. The Doctor said she may have lost up to 70% of her blood. When I arrived at the hospital she was on a transfusion of blood. I stayed for some time and then they needed to take her to X ray to try and find out WHY she was losing blood. I called this morning and they said she is resting comfortably. I can go see her after 9:00 this morning. I do not know IF they found WHY the blood loss. Hope and prayers are in order.
That is pretty much all I have for this morning. I will get dressed and get to the hospital in a while as I am more than anxious to find out if they know anything else. I am at a loss as to why the blood loss and actually it sounded like the doctors were not sure either last night but maybe they found out some things in their tests last night. I do not know BUT I am guessing her hospital stay is not going to be a short one. So my saying, "one day at a time" probably is not for this situation but rather maybe something like, "Let's see how she is in a week!"
I admit it is a good thing I never was a doctor as those kind of things scare me to no end. I have a feeling If we had not gotten Terry to the hospital when we did it would not have been good. Thank you Lord as I am not so great at making decisions about what to do when.
Here it is 8:10 so I will sign off, get dressed and head out. I am pretty sure it will be a good day as I made my FP extra strong this morning because it was not such a good night! BUT I promise the FP got me up and going in a good way.
IF any thing new comes up I will blog again but I do not think that will happen.
