Another day to be thankful for all that we have. I wrote this yesterday and did not post it

 TERRY

It is a bit past 7:00 as I sit down to write and Terry is sleeping and I hope she does not wake for a while.  She needs her sleep.  Last night I closed my eyes about 9:00 and she was watching a movie very much awake.  The last few days she has seemed to feel better so one day at a time and we are good.

Here it is 7:00 and daylight is here.  Not sure I like daylight savings time but it is nice in the morning.  Not so much at night as darkness comes a bit too early.

I think the only thing I have going today is tennis at 10:30.  Such is the life of a retired person SOME days!  Terry does not have a lot of requests for food but yesterday she asked if I would make "Tuna Asparagus Delight" which she put in the Thune Cookbook.  So to the store it was to get a green pepper, asparagus, a can of mushrooms and a couple of cans of soup.  I think it turned out to be very good.  But now we need to eat it EVERY day or throw it out after some time as it made a 9X13 pan FULL of hot dish.  

My back is bothering me some today but it is not the bothersome pain that makes one shut down.  I will just make sure I am careful over the next few days.  I was surprised as it did not bother me much when I played tennis yesterday.  I do remember a camping trip with the family a LONG time ago where I actually went into the hospital and had a shot and then was in bed the entire time we were there.

I am thinking I may get my Christmas letter copied and into envelopes this week so they will be ready for the mail the Friday after Thanksgiving.  I received the last of my shopping list for Christmas yesterday so I am finished with that as well.  What am I to do now???  I think it is somewhat early to start on a 2023 calendar, right???

I would like to get on the bike and do a short bike ride but I do not like to leave while Terry is sleeping and also not sure it would be good for my back so may just try to clean up some messes around the house as it seems the house does a job on messes during the night.  Is that possible?  Well I know the answer to that but really it seems that way.  I also could clean up the kitchen but again I do NOT want to wake Terry so that is my excuse for not working.  It actually sounds like a pretty good one too.

I HAD to open the patio doors to the pool and walk around the pool this morning as the morning light shinning on our VERY clean pool deck was a sight to enjoy to no end.  I embarrassed myself yesterday.  We have a pool cleaning service that comes on Monday.  It usually comes around 10 or so.  Well at about 9:30, as I sat at the computer, I saw a figure walk past the window and I thought it was the pool people.  About 20 minutes later I went out to the pool to see what kind of job they did as there was a lot of dirt in the water from the cleaning.  The pool was very dirty yet.  I called the company to say they needed to come back and do the job again.  Guess what?  They had not been here!!!!! 

I thought this was pretty funny!  Make no mistake I did not relate to it!!!!!!
