TERRY
It is 9:15 and Terry is reading the paper. She is doing fine but I need to get her to the store for that covid shot today. She just was not feeling up to getting out yesterday but we need to do that.
There is nothing planned today. I should get some work done BUT!
I will get a bike ride in later and that is about it. Oh, I most likely will watch some of the U S Open tennis as well.
I just do not have much to say today. I have been feeling tired the last few days as the "wake up" time showed this morning when I got out of bed at 7:10. Usually it is at least an hour earlier than that. No tennis today and I miss that as the play yesterday was great fun.
For some reason I have been having a lot of thoughts of the past. I have been missing Ronald, Janet and Dave and then my thoughts drift to the future and what that might hold. I am guessing sister Joan is getting all excited about their big 60th even though it is 2+ months away. I think someone gave their son Quinn much of the work to put it on and according to Helen he then nicely passed it on to her! I am sure Kelly is doing some of the work as well. I am guessing it will be a wonderful time for Joan and Ron. I remember their 50th that we celebrated in the Black Hills way back in 2011. And then again 4 years later in the Black Hills we celebrated Marlys and Dave's 50th and then in there was Judi and John's 50th. Wow when I think of it our family has been blessed with long relationships. Gail and I were able to celebrate 41 and now Terry and I are going on #11. I guess it shows that when the Lees make up their mind they stick to it!!! I say Lees but of course I am counting Judi/John in on that. I don't know if Judi reads my blog at all but if she does she should be proud as now I ALWAYS spell her name correctly!!! I mean really how many Judy do you know and how many Judi do you know???
As you may be able to tell I do not have much to say so am just writing! I think it is time to put out another reading from: DAKOTA ATTITUDE
"Growing up, "We had Catholics for neighbors but at that time we weren't supposed to play with those Catholic kids, because we were Lutherans, you know. But we did anyway." I think times have changed a bit!
No, I think it is time to close this out, get on the bike and get a little exercise in for the day.
