HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOAN

 

Joan has a birthday today.  No need to say the number BUT I promise of the three of us still living she is the eldest!  Yes, we have in-laws who are older like Glorine and John AND they are part of family of course but in terms of Mom, Dad and the six kids Joan is now senior.  I might add that she is doing well and she and Ron will celebrate anniversary #60 next month.  Joan has been a wonderful big sister all these years.  May you have many many more years Joan, Love Carmen

Maybe I should add in case you are confused.  The picture was taken a few years ago but oh my goodness she was and is a cutie!

Maybe I should add how she helped me with my girl friend situation in high school!!!  A pot and pan salesman came to her home.  He was so so ridiculous that Joan sent him packing out of the house AND he forgot his top coat and hat.  Well he called Joan later to come and get it and she said he was NOT to come back.  Joan gave the coat and hat to me and with that fancy top coat and hat to match it helped me get a great seat on the team bus going home from basketball games if you get my drift!!!
