The turkey is thawing and almost ready to grill!!

I will just post a couple of pictures taken after Terry's fall.  They kind of tell the story.  I would say she is slowly getting better and will be able to pick up water therapy again next week.  The stitches come out next Monday.

One does not need more than that today!!  And that does not include her swollen right hand and her banged up left knee!  She did have a scan of her head and an X-ray of her knee at the hospital just to make sure nothing was broken etc.

As I sip my first cup of FP I say to myself "It will be kind of a busy day.  I have tennis at 7:30 and then will be out and about for a time.  There are some library books that need to be returned.  I need to stop at the post office as one of our Christmas Cards goes to Canada and I don't know the postage on that.  Also, at the post office, I will pick up some boxes for sending things.  So that is what a busy day for a 73 year old guy looks like!  Well of course there will be some kitchen clean up this afternoon, some chef duties later on and I almost forgot.  I need to get a haircut.  I just hate to get hair cuts.  I am sure it comes from haircuts that Dad gave.  It was just a towel around the neck and then NO shower afterwards and I always felt I was itchy.  I know, it is more than a little lame to blame Dad when he is not here to defend himself!

I think Terry will be napping off and on today.  She said she looked at the clock several times last night and that is not a good sign.

I wanted to make some fudge for the holidays and I did get that finished yesterday.  I used about 10% of ONE bottle of Mapleine and I have the other 5 bottles on the counter!!!  There may be one more batch in the making but that would be just for home.  I almost had nightmares as I stirred the batches and thought about what it was like to make 22 matches in 2006!!!  Sometimes I question my approach to things.  Actually I do often but then I do not change so.

I see where the guy who started Tesla is now the world's second richest person!  His net worth is now 127.9 billion.  I think he could start having Tesla pay out dividends.  In 2020 he has increased his worth by 100.3 billion.  I guess 2020 has not been a bad year for everyone!

Here it is 7:05 and time to get dressed for tennis.  I will get my second cup of FP down by the time I go but the rest will have to wait until later as I will warm it up after tennis.  I think I need a lot of FP as I go into the barber shop for that darn haircut.
